Support Detox Naturally Without a Cleanse or Juice Fast
There’s no shortage of trendy “detoxes”, juice cleanses, and water fasts that promise to flush out toxins and give you a fresh start.
But here’s the truth:
Your body doesn’t need a crash detox…
It needs consistent support.
Your liver, kidneys, lymphatic system, and even your skin are always working to detoxify.
Those processes can (and will) slow down when you’re inflamed, nutrient-depleted, or overburdened by environmental toxins.
Instead of forcing a detox, try supporting your body’s natural pathways with the right tools.
If you’ve been feeling sluggish, bloated, foggy-headed, or like your body just isn’t firing on all cylinders, these are some of the most effective ways to support detox naturally.
No juice cleanse required.
1. Eat Nutrient-Dense Whole Foods
Your detox pathways rely on vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, all found in real, whole foods.
Some of my favorites for daily detox support:
Leafy greens like spinach, kale, and arugula to boost phase II liver detox.
Beets to support bile flow and fat digestion.
Lemons to support your liver in flushing out toxins.
It’s also important to eat enough food.
Many people undereat while trying to "detox," but your liver can’t do its job without adequate protein and calories.
My general rule for meals:
2 cups of veggies
30-40g of protein
1-3 tbs of a healthy fat source
2. Hydrate Effectively
Water helps flush out toxins, supports kidney function, and keeps digestion moving.
Aim for at least half your body weight in ounces of water daily.
Don’t forget electrolytes, especially if you drink reverse osmosis or filtered water.
Without minerals, hydration can fall flat.
Try adding a pinch of unrefined salt (I use Redmond Real Salt) or an electrolyte supplement (40k Volts is one of my favorites).
3. Limit Toxins
This one isn’t about perfection.
It’s about reducing the noise so your body has more bandwidth to heal.
That means limiting:
Ultra-processed foods
Excess sugar
Alcohol
These things add to your body’s detox burden.
If you’re constantly trying to “detox” after your food and lifestyle choices, your liver never gets a break.
Focus instead on consistency: real food, balanced meals, hydration, gentle movement, and rest.
4. Use Targeted Supplements to Support Detox Pathways
Detox isn’t a one-time event.
It’s an ongoing process your body is always working on, and when we support it consistently, that’s when the real magic happens.
Here are my top 3 go-to detox supplements:
Glutathione – your body’s master antioxidant that supports liver function and cellular detox.
Beta TCP – a blend of beet extract, taurine, and vitamin C to support fat digestion and bile flow.
40,000 Volts Electrolytes – a clean, mineral-rich hydration support (especially helpful if you're mineral-depleted from stress or filtered water).
This Go-To Detox Trio is available through my Fullscript dispensary.

Detox doesn’t have to be extreme.
When you work with your body instead of against it, detox is about creating a steady, nourishing foundation for your health to thrive.
