Linking Your Springtime Allergies to Poor Gut Health

Springtime allergies are not a Claritin or Zyrtec deficiency - they are a symptom of your messed up gut.

I wouldn't believe me either if I didn’t have firsthand experience with this. Not to mention, I studied this in becoming a nutritional therapy practitioner.

If you’ve been in my universe for any amount of time, you may remember some past emails talking about Leaky Gut Syndrome and Dysbiosis as digestive health conditions I help my clients overcome.

Turns out, springtime allergies that show up as coughing, sneezing, itchy, watery eyes come from a combination of having these two problems in the gut.

If you missed either of those emails, I suggest you go back and read them with the links above.

The same mechanism that created your food sensitivities works for environmental allergies, too.

Your immune system learned how to mount an immune response to a foreign invader, be it cheese, cat hair, or pollen when you are a young child.

Once you have a leaky gut and your immune system knows how to react to undigested food invaders in the form of food sensitivities, you have already set the stage for seasonal allergies.

Add in some imbalances in your gut flora, aka dysbiosis, and BOOM!

Coughing, sneezing, itching, watering eyes every spring. Maybe even some hives for good measure.

I have some good news for you and some not-so-good news for you.

The good news is that you can reverse leaky gut and balance your dysbiosis.

And I can help you do it.

This is exactly what I do with my 1:1 clients in my Gut Restoration Process.

We use functional testing like the GIMAP and MRT tests to identify what your gut flora imbalances are and what foods are currently creating an immune response for you.

Through our work, we will remove those reactive foods (temporarily) and we will repopulate your healthy gut flora.

We will ‘heal and seal’ your leaky gut.

We will balance your dysbiosis.

And in the process, we can make your seasonal allergies disappear, too.

But here’s the not-so-good news.

This doesn’t happen overnight.

It takes time to heal.

I know this fact makes those over-the-counter allergy medications seem appealing, but they are just a band-aid approach and they won’t fix the underlying problem.

Heck, they might not even give you the relief from your symptoms you’re looking for.

If I think back to when I was popping Claritin every day all spring and summer, I don’t remember actually being without allergies.

I was still a sniffling, coughing mess. I had terrible hay fever as a kid.

But I don’t anymore.

How did I overcome my seasonal allergies?

I fixed my gut.

Now that you know there is hope for you to be without seasonal allergies and the answers reside in your gut, your first step is to book a Gut Health Discovery call with me HERE so you can throw away the Claritin in your cabinet and breathe in the sweet scent of blooming flowers in summer evenings to come.

Book your Gut Health Discovery call HERE

On our call, we will talk about your symptoms (seasonal allergies or otherwise) and what you’re looking for help with.

Once I have more information about your situation, I’ll be honest with you and tell you if I can help you.

Full disclosure, the work that I do is not for everyone.

Our Gut Health Discovery call is a time for you to get your questions answered, but also a time for us to each decide if we are a good fit to work together.

I take on a limited number of clients each month, and I want to make sure that I can truly address your needs and that we will be successful in overcoming your digestive problems.

If we decide to work together on our call, I will collect payment over the call to hold your place on my calendar, and we will schedule our first visit.

Today could be the day you take the first step in your journey to say goodbye to your seasonal allergies for good.
